No change in dinar-euro exchange rate for 2nd day

 The exchange rate of the Serbian dinar against the euro will remain almost unchanged Wednesday, with the official middle exchange rate at RSD 104.7246 per one euro, the National bank of Serbia (NBS) has said in a release.

Compared to the same period last month, the dinar will weaken against the euro by 3.4 percent, while strengthening by 0.4 percent on an annual basis.

In 2011, the dinar hit its yearly high on May 23, when the middle exchange rate was at RSD 96.7007 per euro, and its yearly low on January 6, with the exchange rate at RSD 106.4947.

During 2011, the dinar strengthened against the euro by 0.8 percent in nominal terms.

On Tuesday, the indicative dinar-versus-dollar exchange rate stood at RSD 82.3048 per dollar, which is down by 0.1 percent compared to the previous day.

On a monthly basis, the dinar weakened against the dollar by 5.7 percent, whereas it dropped by 4.8 percent on an annual level, the NBS said.
