Dragan Vukmirovic, director of the state statistical office, said Sunday that voter turnout in Serbia before 10 am was 10.98 percent, one percent more than in the 2008 elections.
Dragan Vukmirovic, director of the state statistical office, said Sunday that voter turnout in Serbia before 10 am was 10.98 percent, one percent more than in the 2008 elections.
At a news conference held at the state electoral commission, Vukmirovic said turnout was 10.92 percent in central Serbia, 11.11 percent in Vojvodina and 10.59 percent in Belgrade.
By 10 am, turnout was 10.36 percent in Novi Sad, 8.62 percent in Nis, 10.97 percent in Kragujevac, and 11.15 percent in Cacak, said Vukmirovic.
Miograd Petrovic, member of the state electoral commission, said that all 8,390 polling stations in Serbia and 90 in Kosovo opened at 7 am and no irregularities have been reported.
The data is based on a sample of 472 polling stations.
Information on voter turnout in Kosovo by 10 am will be announced later.
Serbia has 6,770,013 registered voters.
