Commenting on the decision by the Competition Agency, corporate affairs director in Danube Foods Group Rade Pribicevic said the company would act according to the Agency’s orders, but also initiate an administrative dispute before the Supreme Court in order to protect its interests.

Pribicevic points out that the Competition Agency has determined the Danube Group’s market share in milk purchase according to the data provided by the Ministry of Agriculture.

He claims these data are not relevant, as they do not include over 50 percent of the milk on the market not subsidized by the Ministry. This way, Danube Group’s market share drops to 25 percent.
