Woman from Georgia wins USD 2.5 million on lottery

Representatives of the Georgian National Lottery told AP that Tordinava is the first jackpot winner since October 2009, when the lottery was first organized.
Georgian woman Zamira Tordinava shocked her country when the Georgian National Lottery announced she was the winner of 4.4 million Georgian laris (USD 2.5 million), which is a precedent in the country and in the whole region of western Caucasus when it comes to lottery jackpots.
Representatives of the Georgian National Lottery told AP that Tordinava is the first jackpot winner since October 2009, when the lottery was first organized.
The winner stated that she cannot believe her luck, since she hit the jackpot having bougt only one ticked.
Confused by all the sudden events, she could not tell how she will spend the money, the AP Agency reported.
