The average Zagreb salary was up by 1.3 per cent in July compared to the same month last year, but down from June by 1.9 per cent in nominal terms.

The average salary for Zagreb in July was 6.260 kuna or 955 Euros according to the latest data of Zagreb City Office for Strategic Planning and Development. That is 121 kunas or 16.5 Euros lower than last month.

Similar to the nation-wide distribution, the lowest-paid professions are building maintenance and landscaping (3,279 Kunas or 448 Euros)and leather goods manufacturing (3,288 kunas or 449 Euros).

On the other end of the spectrum are marketing and market research (10,245 or 1,400 Euros), while management consultants were by far the highest paid with 13,642 kunas or 1,865 Euros.
