Croatian workers are returning to Croatia by planes, but a considerable number of them are still blocked on construction sites or camps made for foreign workers who are trying to leave Libya.

Croatia Airlines special charter flight brought late Wednesday about 30 workers employed at three Croatian companies who were trying to leave Libya for days. Austrians took them from Tripoli to Vienna.

A total of 68 workers returned to Croatia throughout Wednesday. Another 100 are waiting to be evacuated, and those in Benghazi did not board to the third Turkish ship, because 20.000 Turks had the priority.

If nothing succeeds Croatia’s citizens will board a Montenegrin ship that should arrive in a few days.

At the beginning of the Libyan crisis there were around 500 workers in different parts of Libya.
