Bosnian gas importer BH-Gas said it signed on Thursday with U.S.-Israeli company Energtek a 10-year natural gas supply deal worth some 60-70 million marks.
Under the contract, BH-Gas will in the next ten years supply to Energtek some 12-14 million standard cubic metres of gas annually, the whole amount of which Energtek will carry via a non-pipe technology to Bosnian aluminium smelter Aluminij and aluminium profiles producer Feal, the Bosnian company said in a statement on its website.
Energtek will pay BH-Gas some 6-7 million marka annually for the gas, it added.
BH-Gas said the first deliveries are expected in September after the completion of some technical details and the signing of a contract between Aluminij and Energtek.
Energtek develops and applies proprietary low-pressure storage technology to provide cTelecoms expected to pay BAM 18m
The launch of several important infrastructural projects in BH depends on three telecoms and their payment of the first installment for the 3G licence, in the total amount of BAM 18 million.
The Council of Ministers was counting on this money while approving two bridges over the Sava river which are co-funded with Croatia. Licences were issued in 2009 for EUR 15 million each, and operators got seven years to pay for them, after a two-year grace period. The problem is that no specific date in 2011 was set for this, which means they might stall until the end of the year.
Since important cross-border projects depend on them, the transport ministry of BH plans to meet with operators shortly, and hopefully speed up the payments.
