There are some 700 web-based sales businesses in Croatia that have a turnover of 350 million kunas (47 million Euros) per year, estimates show.

The estimate was published on Croatian portal Rp.hr. It does not include the payments made by Croatian citizens on foreign-based web sites.

Web payments are registering an increase from year to year, the portal Business writes. On-line sales increased by 60 per cent in 2010.
