Director of the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency Vesna Gacesa stated today that within a couple of weeks the Agency will start using a new Risk-Based Inspection and Maintenance planning software tool RBMS, which will improve efficiency and transparency.

Speaking at a presentation on the programme, which is still being used on a trial basis, Gacesa said that by introducing this system, Serbia is leading the way in the region when it comes to the reform of bankruptcy procedure.

With the help of the new software, the Agency will be able to concentrate on risk areas and react speedily in order to monitor bankruptcy procedures, she noted.

We will be able to monitor complaints regarding bankruptcy procedures, to have good quality office and field supervision, to gather precise statistics and to make them public in a transparent manner, Gacesa explained, adding that the Agency supervises the work of nearly 400 bankruptcy managers.

USAID Director in Serbia Jim Stein stated that the introduction of the new software is a big step forward for Serbia.

The RBMS system is a result of cooperation between the USAID financed Bankruptcy and Enforcement Strengthening programme and the Bankruptcy Supervision Agency, he stressed.
