Kosovska Mitrovica officials and the Serbian state Commissariat for Refugees delivered Monday aid to two internally displaced families, worth RSD 300,000.

Kosovska Mitrovica officials and the Serbian state Commissariat for Refugees delivered Monday aid to two internally displaced families, worth RSD 300,000.

Dimitrije Markovic of Nevoljane in the municipality of Vuciturn received a welding machine, while third-year music major Goran Djordjevic from Obilic got keyboards.

"Our greatest wish is for them and all other displaced persons to be able to go back home as soon as possible, so that the municipality, and the competent ministries and state institutions no longer need to provide assistance," Municipal President Krstimir Pantic said.

A commission chose the recipients from the six families that applied for aid.
