The EU Integration Office is to receive today the last answers to the Questionnaire that the EC sent to Serbia in 2009, Delevic confirmed for the Belgrade-based daily Vecernje Novosti. The answers to 2,483 contain about 5,000 pages of small-font text.

Director of the Serbian government's EU Integration Office Milica Delevic has stated that the deadline for submitting answers to the European Commission's (EC) Questionnaire expires on Monday, adding that the answers will be adopted by January 27 at the latest.

The EU Integration Office is to receive today the last answers to the Questionnaire that the EC sent to Serbia in 2009, Delevic confirmed for the Belgrade-based daily Vecernje Novosti.

"The Defense, Foreign and Agricultural Ministries were the first to complete and submit their answers, and the other ministries, institutions, independent bodies and non-governmental organizations have been bringing the task to an end. Everything is in the final phase, and it is going quite well," Delevic underscored.

She added that the submitting of all answers does not mean that the job is done, as the Office may return some answers to the ministries for modifications. The answers are then to be put together into a synchronized whole. Next they are to be translated, after which the translations are once again forwarded to the ministries for expertise.

The answers to 2,483 contain about 5,000 pages of small-font text.
