The Belgrade-based television Pink broadcasted on Sunday evening a telephone statement for which it claims was an exclusive interview with Libya's leader Muammar Gaddafi, given to the TV Pink crew in Tripoli.

In the interview, Gaddafi said that he considers as void the UN Security Council Resolution on sanctions against Libya, which was adopted at 2 a.m. CET on Sunday, and which freezes all the property in his possession and the possession of his five children and calls on the International Criminal Tribunal to examine the regime's violence against the population, which the Resolution says can be qualified as crime against humanity.

Before TV Pink's broadcast of the interview, the British agency Reuters broadcasted two flashes, referring to the statement of a TV Pink journalist that Gaddafi gave the interview in his office in Tripoli.

The French agency AFP also reported about the interview.

Miodrag Popovic, who was a part of the team of journalists who interviewed Gaddafi, and Gaddafi's long-time friend Zoran Lilic (former president of the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia from 1993 to 1997), who went to Libya to assist in the evacuation of Serbian citizens from the country, commented on the interview for TV Pink.
