The court in Genoa issued a sentence of three years and three months in prison against Ivan Bogdanov, who was charged along with three others with causing riots during the Italy-Serbia football match at the city's Luigi Ferraris stadium in October last year.

Italian judge Annalisa Giacalone found the other three defendants guilty and issued them the following sentences: three years for Nikola Krickovic, two years and eight months for Danijel Janjic and two years and six months for Srdjan Jovetic, ANSA agency reported.
Prosecutor Cristine Camaiori had called for the same sentences.
All four hooligans were charged with resisting official persons, causing serious damage and inappropriate conduct at the stadium.
The aborted 2012 European Championship qualifier between Italy and Serbia was registered 3:0 for the hosts, and both football federations were fined.
