The head of Belgrade's negotiating team, Boris Stefanovic, said on March 14 that the talks with Pristina will continue at the end of this month and that after resolving the issue of people's standard of living in Kosovo, the aim is to discuss the issue of Kosovo's status.
"We will continue working on issues which we have not resolved, and nothing has been fully resolved, but we have found middle ground. We are working on a list of topics for when the talks continue," Stefanovic told B92. He said that the talks with Pristina will continue at the end of March.
"Our goal is to resolve specific things, to help Serbs in Kosovo and to maintain our sovereignty. We would like to enable people to return and, at the end, to talk with Pristina about regulating our relations, and that is a nice euphemism for [Kosovo's] status," said Stefanovic who is also the policy director at the Foreign Ministry.
He said that during the first round of talks with Pristina stances on customs stamps were the most different and that the smallest problem will be related to chairing the Central European Free Trade Agreement.
