KFOR Commander Erhard Buehler said Wednesday that the special forces of the Kosovo police carried out a regular exercise in the southern part of Mitrovica and had no plans to carry out some action in northern Kosovo.

Buehler said at a news conference in Pristina after meeting with Croatian Prime Minister Jadranka Kosor that it was an exercise of special units, such as are now underway in other parts of Kosovo too.

According to the report, police exercises are held in several regions of Kosovo, including the Mitrovica region, said Buehler, adding that the exercise was not related to the implementation of any plan or any specific action.
