Serbia's balance of payments deficit in 2010 totaled USD 2.79 billion, which is by 2.2 percent less than the previous year, the Conjuncture Trends magazine published by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce (PKS) released Friday.

The reduction in the 2010 balance of payments deficit was mainly due to the dynamic growth in export of goods.
The overall net inflow of foreign direct investments in 2010 totaled USD 1.16 billion, which is a 38 percent decline compared to 2009.
Serbia's services trade balance with foreign countries in 2010 amounted to modest USD 9.1 million.
Serbia's export of services reached USD 3.53 billion, and import about USD 3.52 billion. Compared to 2009, export of services increased by 1.2 percent, and import by 1.8 percent. The export-import ratio was 100.26 percent.
