Serbia's water polo team won the gold medal at the Universiade in the Chinese city of Shenzhen as it defeated Russia's team in the final match early on Tuesday 11-8 (2-1, 2-3, 5-0, 2-4).

This is the second medal the Serbian water polo team has won at Universiade competitions, after the bronze won in Belgrade two years ago.
