During the holiday, on Tuesday and Wednesday, Monday's exchange rate of RSD 111.8981 per one euro was in effect.
Including the latest intervention, the central bank has sold a total of EUR 708.5 million on the inter-bank foreign exchange market since the beginning of the year in order to ensure uninterrupted functioning of the foreign exchange market.
This year, the Serbian currency hit its highest level on January 11 with the exchange rate at RSD 103.6922.
The dinar will be 0.4 percent down on this time last month, and 11 percent down on the year.
On Monday, the indicative dinar-versus-dollar exchange rate was at RSD 84.5882, 0.2 percent down on the day before.
The Serbian dinar weakened against the U.S. dollar by 1.2 percent when compared to the level a month ago, and by 20.6 percent if compared to a year ago.
