RIK: Nikolic 25.47 pct, Tadic 23.65 pct

The Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) stated on Sunday evening that based on a sample of 7.87 percent of polling stations, Tomislav Nikolic, candidate of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), won 25.47 percent, while Boris Tadic, candidate of the Democratic Party, won 23.63 percent of the vote in Serbia's presidential elections.
The Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) stated on Sunday evening that based on a sample of 7.87 percent of polling stations, Tomislav Nikolic, candidate of the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS), won 25.47 percent, while Boris Tadic, candidate of the Democratic Party, won 23.63 percent of the vote in Serbia's presidential elections.
Ivica Dacic, presidential candidate of the Socialist Party of Serbia-United Pensioners of Serbia-United Serbia (SPS-PUPS-JS) coalition, won 16.61 percent. In the parliamentary elections, the “For a Better Life- Boris Tadic” list won 21.29 percent of the vote, “Let's Get Serbia Moving - Tomislav Nikolic” had 24.17 percent, while the “SPS-PUPS-JS - Ivica Dacic” list won 16.65 percent.
Based on a sample of 7.87 percent of polling stations, turnout in Serbia without Kosovo-Metohija reached 61.08 percent, the RIK said. The Kosovo-Metohija results are expected on Monday.
