Floods return to the region of Shkodra, while the heavy rains of the last days have worsened the situation in several areas. As a result, several families have been blocked within the walls of their houses.

Floods in the district of Shkodra have spread in nearly all the problematic areas of the last year. Meanwhile, discharge of water from the hydro power plants blocked enormous land surfaces and dozens of houses because of the water rising level.

The situation is critical in the area of Obot, where evacuations have started. The village is completely isolated and more than 250 houses are at risk by the current of the water. The situation is also critical in the Ajasem village, where because of the floods, even the military forces could not enter the area.

The situation is problematic in several areas, and travelling with low vehicles is not counseled in the area of the Harku i Berdices, in the commune of Ana e Malit and in the Ajasem village.
