“I am convinced for one thing… during that time, we had for sure foreign intervention. Things were not organized only from the inside. Nobody could have given the events of ’96 such a great importance if it was not for foreign support. But the details on how this was made possible are not yet clear. Nevertheless, they belong to the past and they should not have any influence in the actual relations. But of course, we should take notes,” said historian Sabri Godo.
When asked about a clear American influence when rejecting the Sea Border Agreement with Greece, Godo said that “I would not be surprised by an indirect American influence. This is related to general strategic interests and to the policy that is followed by a certain country. In any case, America has supported our interests. This will provoke a debate, which will include the entire world. I consider it as a beneficial thing and maybe the governments will face difficulties because those who don’t know the past are destined to repeat their mistakes.”

GUYS NO ONE GIVES A SHIT AS ITS BEEN OVER 13YEARS SINCE 1997 HAPPEN AND IF ALBANIAN GOVERMENT WANTED THEY WOULD OF GOT THE ANSWERS BUT THEY DONT, ITS NICE TO KNOW WHAT HAPPEN BUT I DONT THINK WE ARE GONNA KNOW WHAT HAPPEN SO WE HAVE TO GET ON WITH THE FUTURE AND MAYBE HOPE 1 DAY THE TRUTH WIL COME OUT EVENTUALLY. Shqiptar vecanarisht ju te majt, e dij se socialistet presin se mos del dicka per Berishen qe ndodhi ne 1997. Por ju bej thirrje ju te dashur votus mos shikoni mbrapa por gjithmon shikoni perpare se perpara hecet. Berisha me ate kohe ishte edhe politikani i ri edhe ndoshta eka bere dicka me dem, por mendoni mir cfar ndodhi me Kosoven mbas asaj kohe. Edi Rame ndoshta pret dicka me ket rast te ndodh me Berishen por te mjerit ne shqiptaret cdo heqim kur partija socialiste te vij ne pushtet. Edhe sa vjet do na e coni Shqiprin mbrapa. Se ne emigrantet duam te kthehemi ne vendin ton jne dite por jo me drejtus anti atdhetar ne pushtet qe nuk deshirojn te festojn festen e clirimit te vendit vet. Ti zoti RAMA ne emer te popullit shpalesh si armik i popullit dhe jo te jehs ne krye te shqiptarve, kjo nuk duhet te ndodh perseri armiku te udhheq shqiptaret ti cfar ke ber eke ber anti kombtar ai kan syt dhe veshet ne kok kta shqiptar qe votojn per ty dhe te vijn mbrapa per shi dhe balt ne per mitingje.#

sido qe te jete e verteta e popullit shqiptar persa i perket vitit 1997, ne duhet te dijme ekzaksisht influencen e popujve fqinje. berisha duhet larguar, eshte koha per nje fillim te ri pa kthim prapa. duhet te behemi edhe ne influencial.

Degjoni e verteta eshte se sekretet nuk duhen kur zbuluar prandaj quhen dhe sekrete por ekziston edhe kjo fjale POR me kete mazhorance qe kemi ne shqiptaret fatkeq duhet te njohim cfaredo hapi mbrapsht qe bene dhe te gjykojme.
