On the Bulgarian side of the Kalotina-Gradina border crossing, the trucks waiting to enter Serbia formed a 3 - 5 kilometer-long row, but there are no problems when it comes to passenger transport, the Bulgarian Interior Ministry said.
The reason for the delay is the fact that Bulgarian hauliers, who had to deliver their electronic statements to the Bulgarian Customs State Agency by January 1, failed to fulfill that obligation.
The problem occurred because the hauliers have to fill in the papers on the spot, the Ministry’s statement read.
