BiH: Living costs up by 3.1 per cent in December

Prices of products and services used for personal consumption, measured by the CPI, were up in December 2010 by 3.1 per cent y/y in BH, data from the statistics agency show.

Prices of products and services used for personal consumption, measured by the CPI, were up in December 2010 by 3.1 per cent y/y in BH, data from the statistics agency show.

Prices of alcoholic beverages and tobacco were up the most – by 11.9 per cent; they increased by average 6.9 per cent in telecommunications, by 5.4 per cent in transport, by 3.9 per cent in the group of food and non-alcoholic beverages, 3.9 per cent in housing, etc.

Month on month, living costs were higher by 0.8 per cent, and the most so for food and non-alcoholic beverages (+2 per cent) and transport (+1.3 per cent).
