The airport in the eastern Croatian town of Osijek will most probably have no regular international passenger flights until the spring of next year, daily newspaper Glas Slavonije reports.
The paper reminds that the low budget Irish company Ryanair will be connecting Osijek and Frankfurt, Germany, until the end of October, but they have no commercial interest to continue doing so during the winter period.
The city authorities of Osijek have however announced plans of a possible charter flight service between Osijek and the Middle East and Northern Africa.
