Bosnia and Herzegovina has improved its ranking according to a business report for 2012

Bosnia and Herzegovina has marginally improved its ranking on the list, and is now on the 125 position in comparison to last year's 127 position.
A new report from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the World Bank shows that Eastern Europe and Central Asia are the leading regions, for the ninth year in a row, when the advancement of business regulations is in question.
Bosnia and Herzegovina has marginally improved its ranking on the list, and is now on the 125 position in comparison to last year's 127 position.
The report, titled “A report on business activity for 2012: Business activity in a transparent world”, was released today and grades regulations affecting the business activity of corporations in 183 economies.
Bosnia and Herzegovina was ranked as the 125 out of 183 economies, based on the level of ease of business activity. It stated that BH has simplified the process for acquiring a construction permit by digitalization and reconstruction its land registry and cadaster. Also, forming a company was simplified by replacing the mandatory permit with a simple notification about the start of business, and the process for tax identification number was completed.
Based on the ease of business activity, other Eastern European economies were ranked: Macedonia (22), Slovenia (37), Montenegro (56), Bulgaria (59), Romania (72), Croatia (80), Moldavia (81), Albania (82), Serbia (92), and Kosovo (117).
