Pharmacies in Athens and Piraeus will be closed on Monday November 21 in protest against the government's cost-cutting reforms in healthcare.

The Attica Pharmacists' Association (FSA) warned the government policies would "totally paralyse the sector."
Pharmacy owners have been at odds with the government for more than a year, opposing efforts to end licensing restrictions on their business but also being affected by efforts to reduce deficits in the health and pension system.
