Hemofarm Inzenjering is going to draw plans and construct a factory of pharmaceutical preparations and medical products for Russian pharmaceutical and biochemical company Nearmedik Plus.

Signatures on the agreement on construction of the factory at about 21,000 square meters in the industrial zone of the city of Obninsk, in the region of Kalush, have been put by Nearmedik Plus CEO Vladimir Georgijevic Nesterenko and Diirector of Obninsk-based office of Hemofarm Inzenjering Dragan Starovic.

Experts from Hemofarm Inzenjering have the obligation to prepare the project-technical documentation for the factory that will be producing solid and effervescent forms of drugs. In addition to the production units that will be brought in accord with the GMP and latest scientific-technical achievements in the field of drugs production, the project also comprises accompanying facilities within the factory complex: warehouse, administrative building, laboratories and infrastructure facilities. The works on this significant greenfield investment will be carried out in phases.

Just like Hemofarm, Hemofarm Inzenjering successfully operates in Russia. One of the indicators of the quality of services of Hemofarm Inzenjering is its license to draw plans in Russian Federation.

Since 2006, in addition to supplying drugs to large Russian market, Hemofarm also produces drugs in that country thanks to the factory in Obninsk, which is a product of the company's own technologies and the know-how of the production associates and Hemofarm Inzenjering.

Hemofarm Inzenjering was formed in 1994 with the aim of ensuring the quality of its own development and with the ambition for a constant professional improvement, the function of following the trends in the domain of pharmaceutical industry, and the tendency for a constant improvement of its own efficiency and quality of the provided engineering services, which was also backed by Stada Group. Hemofarm Inzenjering's expert services cover all segments of pharmaceutical engineering, as well as new project fields: biotechnology and food industry.

Nearmedik Plus was formed in 1989, on the foundations of the National Institute for Epidemiology and Microbiology of the Russian Academy of Medical Sciences. It has over 400 employees, including 15 academicians. Its primary fields of work are development, production, promotion and sale of pharmaceutical products, diagnostic test systems and laboratory equipment, as well as provision of medical services through centralized diagnostic laboratories and a network of Nearmedik Plus health centers.
