7,000 pages of answers to EC questions sent for translation

Approximately 70 translators have been working on the project for just over a month now, and the final word about the quality of the work will be given by the experts of the appropriate ministries.Between EUR 11,000 and EUR 12,000 have been secured for this purpose, she remarked, explaining that the top price for a page of translation was RSD 1,300, or around EUR 12.

Some 7,000 pages of answers to the European Commission questionnaire have been sent for translation so far, and around 1,000 pages remain to be translated, Assistant Director of the Serbian Government Office for European Integration Mila Cipovic-Gligoric told Tanjug on Wednesday.

Approximately 70 translators have been working on the project for just over a month now, and the final word about the quality of the work will be given by the experts of the appropriate ministries, she noted.

The agencies who hired the translators were selected through a public tender, since the idea was to get people who are experienced in this line of work, Cipovic-Gligoric stated.
