Symphony Orchestra New Russia to perform in Belgrade

The Belgrade audience will be able to enjoy the works of the most prominent Russian painters like Repin, Chagall, Plastov and others, and the ticket for the concert costs RSD 500.

The Russian State Symphony Orchestra 'New Russia' will hold a concert at the Sava Center in Belgrade Tuesday, on the occasion of the celebration of Russia Day (June 12) in Serbia.

Under the baton of the famous Yuri Bashmet, the orchestra, with the help of violin soloist Alena Bayeva, will perform the compositions of Tchaikovsky, Prokofiev and Shostakovich.

In parallel with the performance of 19th and 20th century Russian compositions, the masterpieces of Russian painters belonging to the same period, from the collection of the Russian State Museum, will be shown in 3D format, owing to the technology which is used for the first time in Europe.

The Belgrade audience will be able to enjoy the works of the most prominent Russian painters like Repin, Chagall, Plastov and others, and the ticket for the concert costs RSD 500.

The sponsors of this unique music and visual event are the Petroleum Industry of Serbia (NIS), Gazpromneft, Gazprom Export and the Russian Embassy in Serbia.
