A patient in Croatia has died from swine flu despite having been vaccinated on time.The 46-year-old has died in a hospital in capital Zagreb on Tuesday, the third Croatian victim of swine flu this season.

Doctors in Fran Mihaljevic Hospital have revealed the patient has died from complications caused by the swine flu.

News website Index has revealed the vaccinated victim of the swine flu was 150 kilograms and that his weight made the situation worse.

Doctors are looking into why the vaccine was not effective in this case.
