In the first governmental meeting after the local elections, the head of the government emphasized that the majority of the major centers in the country have trusted the administration to the opposition, but they have given their political vote to the majority.
Prime Minister Sali Berisha declared that the “Alliance for the Citizen” coalition won the political vote of the Albanians.
In the first governmental meeting after the local elections, the head of the government emphasized that the majority of the major centers in the country have trusted the administration to the opposition, but they have given their political vote to the majority.
“The ballot papers included even a political vote, which is equal to the political symbols of the parties. The political logos of this coalition today have an advantage of more than 6 percent. This political vote is not only a reminder of the powerful support that the Albanian citizens give to the majority, but this is even a guarantee for an excellent victory of the majority in 2013,” said Berisha.
Later, the head of the government commented the race for Tirana. He said that the counting process is being carried in a correct way.
“These elections showed another time with the clarity of the sun light that in this country every vote is counted with a greater responsibility and exactness than in any other country. Follow the race for Tirana! Regardless of the rivalry and the objections, regardless of everything else, each of the candidates has it clear and they are convinced that their votes are being counted in a correct way; and this is an achievement of the Albanian democracy,” said Berisha.
In the end, the head of the government said that the winner will be congratulated by him and by the governmental cabinet. “I am waiting the final result to congratulate the winner. I express the government’s determination and willingness to cooperate in serving the best interests of the Albanian citizens,” said Berisha.
