Djelic to sign agreement with EIB officials

Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Bozidar Djelic will sign with the leaders of the European Investment Bank (EIB) a contract on APEX II loan in Luxembourg at 11.00 on 16 May.

Deputy Prime Minister for European Integration Bozidar Djelic will sign with the leaders of the European Investment Bank (EIB) a contract on APEX II loan in Luxembourg at 11.00 on 16 May.

A press conference will be held afterwards at 11.30.

Together with Governor of the National Bank of Serbia Dejan Soskic, Djelic will sign on behalf of Serbia two agreements with EIB Vice President Dario Scannapieco. The first contract, amounting to €100 million, refers to small and medium-sized enterprises, and the other, in the amount of €50 million to medium-sized and large enterprises.

This is the first part of an EIB loan, whose total amount is €250 million. The contract on the second part of the agreement will be signed early next year. These funds are intended to help exporters, automotive industry and the media.
