Dinar rises again against euro to reach new record highest of RSD 98.2728 for EUR 1

The dinar continued to rise against the euro on Wednesday, going up by RSD 0.71, or 0.72 percent, and setting the middle exchange rate at RSD 98.2728 for EUR 1, which is a new record this year, the National Bank of Serbia has released.

The dinar continued to rise against the euro on Wednesday, going up by RSD 0.71, or 0.72 percent, and setting the middle exchange rate at RSD 98.2728 for EUR 1, which is a new record this year, the National Bank of Serbia has released.

This brings the dinar close to the rate from January 28, 2010, when it was RSD 98.0520 = EUR 1

The central bank has intervened on the foreign exchange market only once since the beginning of the year. It bought EUR 5 million to prevent large fluctuations in the daily exchange rate.
