On 18 May the Center for the Study of Democracy will present the results for Bulgaria in the 2011 Annual World Competitiveness Yearbook of the Institute for Management Development in Switzerland.

The publication evaluates the country’s international competitiveness on the basis of the performance of the economy, the government and the businesses.

The preceding five editions of the yearbook for Bulgaria have been incorporated in the process of creating the policy for competitiveness of the Bulgarian government and in some program documents.

During the event the main challenges facing the country’s competitiveness in 2011 will be presented, as well as the advantages of the Bulgarian economy compared to other countries.
