Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic stated for the Pristina-based daily Zeri that the division of Kosovo is a realistic option and that there is no other way out.

Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Interior Minister Ivica Dacic stated for the Pristina-based daily Zeri that the division of Kosovo is a realistic option and that there is no other way out.

“This is my opinion although both Belgrade and Pristina do not like it. However, I am a very realistic politician and I do not see any other solution to this problem,” Dacic said.

Slobodan Milosevic's successor as the president of the Socialist Party of Serbia (SPS) Ivica Dacic said that he is a politician who is much more pragmatic that the situation in the field can show it. This pragmatism reflects in the idea that Kosovo Serbs should be integrated in Serbia, while others would break away from it, he said.

Dacic stated that the dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina was opened in a sterile manner, and that years and decades will pass and no results will be achieved.
