Agro Invest Ukraine, operating within MK Group, has been selected as one of the most elite agricultural companies in Ukraine. This recognition has been granted to MK Group within the “Agrarian Elite of Ukraine” project of “The Ukrainian Farmer'' magazine.

“Agrarian Elite of Ukraine” is a special project of the most renowned local magazine on agribusiness in Ukraine, “The Ukrainian Farmer“, and represents a comprehensive analysis of the Ukrainian agricultural market. This is also the first project of its kind where the most successful Ukrainian agricultural companies are ranked using an analytical methodology.

- MK Group is one of a few Serbian companies which invest abroad. It is an honour to be ranked among the most successful companies and businesspeople in Ukraine, those who represent the generating force of the growth of Ukrainian agriculture. This is another form of stimulation and another motivation for Agro Invest Ukraine to continue implementing the business philosophy of MK Group in Ukraine. Following successful operations in the largest wheat producer in Europe, Ukraine, we plan to invest in similar projects in Russia and Belarus – says Željko Erceg, CEO of Agro Invest Ukraine.

MK Group currently cultivates around 30,000 hectares of land in the area of Kiev, Vinnica, Cherkassy and Poltava in Ukraine and has so far invested EUR35 million in the acquisition of agricultural companies, modern agribusiness machines and complementary equipment and working capital, as well as in the construction of one of the largest silo complexes in Ukraine (120,000 tons), in cooperation with the EBRD. The concept of further business expansion in Ukraine is based on spreading the land complex to more than 100,000 hectares and development of logistics through a network of silos and own transportation. In addition, it is planned to construct capacities for maize processing to starch and starch products.
