For the first time, a wide portfolio of products made of recycled rubber by the technical rubber factory, most of which are used in the construction sector, has been presented to the local public.

Tigar a.d. has presented a range of products for wide application in the construction sector at the International Building Trade Fair in Belgrade.

Factories within the Pirot-based corporation have presented a program of protective rubber footwear for those working in the construction sector, and a set of products from the group of chemical paints and lacquers for this sector, to the Fair visitors and the local public.

For the first time, a wide portfolio of products made of recycled rubber by the technical rubber factory, most of which are used in the construction sector, has been presented to the local public.

Visitors of the Tigar stand have been most interested in boards made of recycled rubber, for the construction of children’s playgrounds, sports courts made of recycled rubber, and rubber mat for sound and heat insulation, as a light and noise barrier for motorways, for hydro insulation of waste landfills and as protection from vibrations or shocks, for walls and floors of production premises.

According to Goran Jovanović, Managing Director of Tigar Tehnička guma, Tigar aims to constantly inform and educate the public on the significance of use of products made of recycled rubber, which belong to products of the future.

- Products based on rubber granules, resulting from recycling old tyres and contributing to environmental protection, are easily built in, have excellent insulation features and are highly resistant to atmospheric and external influences, and a recipe for them is adjusted to required features of flexibility, shock and vibration resistance, and that is why they are largely used in more developed countries for layering and protecting squares, pavements, walking lanes, parking lots, schoolyards, yards of kindergartens, public institutions, hallways of sports domes, areas around swimming pools, etc, says Jovanović.

At this year’s Building Trade Fair, Tigar has also presented a group of new products made from recycled rubber – boards for lawns and kerbs, as well as products used for the road infrastructure, P-stops and posts.

After the Building Trade Fair in Belgrade, Tigar Tehnička guma will also participate at construction and road infrastructure fairs in Istanbul and Amsterdam.
