The Government of the United States of America, through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) stated that Aler Grubbs, the USAID Program and Project Office Director, will open the conference portion on energy efficiency at the International Symposium “ENERGA” on Wednesday June 22 in Tuzla.

At the symposium that is focused on energy efficiency the USAID Enterprise Energy Efficiency (3E) project will also be presented.

The USAID Enterprise Energy Efficiency (3E) project will present a joint pilot project with the Tuzla Municipality – Energy Efficiency Improvement of the Elementary School “Pazar”.

This is one of the 10 Pilot Projects that will be implemented by USAID 3E throughout BiH.

The USAID Enterprise Energy Efficiency (3E) Project is a USD 4.2 million program for the promotion of Energy Efficiency technologies through the development of pilot projects in buildings that are co-financed by the public and private sector.

During the next four years 3E will work on the increasing the capacity building of municipal partners from the public sector as well from the small and medium enterprises.

The project will also work on increasing the public awareness about the benefits of energy efficiency.

Up to today, the US Government has secured over USD 1.5 billion for the support of the economic, democratic and social progress of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
