Commissioner Füle: "I hope Serbia will remain committed to the reform agenda"

Belgrade will be the first stop of Štefan Füle , European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy when paying a visit to the region.

Belgrade will be the first stop of Štefan Füle , European Commissioner for Enlargement and European Neighbourhood Policy when paying a visit to the region.

"I hope Serbia will remain committed to the reform agenda. Reforms are for the benefit of Serbian citizens and not only for the sake of EU accession." Commissioner Füle said ahead of the visit.

The Commissioner will be in Belgrade on 17 March 2010.

During his stay in Serbia, the Commissioner will meet with the President of Serbia Boris Tadic,, Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic, Deputy Prime Minister Božidar Djelic, Minister of Justice Snežana Malovic, Minister of Finance Diana Dragutinovic and Minister of Public Administration and Local Self Government Milan Markovic.

Within the framework of his visit to the region Commissioner Füle will then travel to Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo and Montenegro.
