Secretary General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Jose Angel Gurria, says that Greece should pursue multiple ways to counter its fiscal crisis.

Secretary General of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), Jose Angel Gurria, says that Greece should pursue multiple ways to counter its fiscal crisis.

"First of all, there is strong political will and very ambitious specific plan...Second, Greece is part of the European Union (EU). Third, Greece can go to international organizations if it wants," he said.

It's a choice for Greece to go to international organizations, Gurria said, adding that whether to take this option "depends on the needs and reactions of the market."

In April and May alone, Greece must cover some EUR 22 billion in outstanding debt redemptions.
