NES Communications has received a licence for the provision of voice transmission services over the internet from Serbia's Agency for Electronic Communications (RATEL).

According to the company's Director of Communications, Nenad Sakovic, the VoIP service is currently targeted at users with Siemens PBX from the Hicom or HiPath family.

However, it will be fully accessible to all business and private customers as soon as the full liberalisation of the market takes place from 01 January 2012, when NES Communications will be able to obtain the numbering.
