Ciric presents Serbia’s investment opportunities in Brussels

Serbia’s potentials were presented to all these companies at the big event, "Investment opportunities in Serbia," which brought together 65 Belgian investors interested in doing business with Serbian companies.

During his three-day visit to the Kingdom of Belgium, Minister of Economy and Regional Development Nebojsa Ciric met with ministers of economy of the Brussels-Capital Region, Wallonia and Flanders Benoit Cerexhe, Jean-Claude Marcourt and Kris Peeters respectively and discused the strengthening of economic cooperation and improvement of institutional relations between the two countries.

Ciric, who ended the visit today, also met with representatives of companies Greenworks, Delhaize Group, Electrawinds, Metes, Puratos and InBev.

He said that he had important meetings with companies that already operate successfully in Serbia, but also with those that are interested in investing in our country.

Serbia’s potentials were presented to all these companies at the big event, "Investment opportunities in Serbia," which brought together 65 Belgian investors interested in doing business with Serbian companies.

The experiences with Belgian companies Delhaize and Energozelena proved to be good, and we expect that this visit of our economic delegation to Brussels, after seven years, will result in large new investments and jobs, the Minister added.

Belgium is the 18th largest investor in Serbia with $72 million in the period from 2000 to 2010.
