Minister of Defense Dragan Sutanovac and French Ambassador to Serbia Francois-Xavier Deniau stated today that the good cooperation in the field of defense between Serbia and France will be improved when Serbian military forces take part in the French Navy contingent in the EU peace keeping mission in Somalia.

During the joint tour of the Centre for Simulations and Distance Learning and the Department of Foreign Languages at the Military Academy Sutanovac stressed that Serbia and France have a long tradition of good cooperation, especially in the field of defense.

Deniau highlighted his pride in the cooperation with our country and expressed his pleasure that Serbian peace forces will take part in the EU peace keeping mission side by side with the French Navy.

French donation to the Military Academy is a large investment for both sides, stated Deniau

The Centre for Simulations and Distance Learning was opened at the end of last year and it has modern computer equipment and software that enables production of audio, visual, and other multimedia material.
