The Serbian dinar strengthened against the euro by 7 paras or 0.1 percent on Wednesday, thus setting the official middle exchange rate at RSD 101.2273 per EUR 1, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) released.

In 2011, the dinar hit its highest level on May 23, when the official middle exchange rate was RSD 96.7007, and its lowest on January 6 with the exchange rate at RSD 106.4947.

The indicative exchange rate against the US dollar stood at RSD 74.4483 on Tuesday afternoon, which was 0.2 percent down compared to the previous day.

When compared to its level one month ago, the dinar strengthened against the US dollar by 0.6 percent and by 2.9 percent at the annual level, the NBS website reads.
