The dinar strengthened by 71 paras or 0.7 percent on Thursday, to an official middle exchange rate of RSD 100.5198 for one euro, the National Bank of Serbia (NBS) has announced.

This year the dinar was the strongest on May 23, when the middle exchange rate was 96.7007, and the weakest on January 6, when one euro was worth RSD 106.4947.

The indicative exchange rate of the dinar against the U.S. dollar was 72.7666 on Wednesday afternoon, 2.1 percent more than the day before. The dinar is up 1.1 percent against the dollar from last month and 4.6 percent from last year, said the NBS.
