Topi receives Albanians from Presevo Valley

Albanian President Bamir Topi expressed unwavering support to the basic rights of ethnic Albanians living in the Presevo Valley, southern Serbia, and backed their equal participation in political, social and institutional life of Serbia.

According to the Albanian Telegraphic Agency (ATA), President Topi conferred with municipal presidents of Bujanovac and Presevo, Jonuz Musliu and Ragmi Mustafa, in Tirana on Tuesday.
On the occasion, Topi said that creation of a healthy social environment in this part of Serbia should be in line with interests of all citizens of Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja.
He also urged the Albanian political factor in the area to maintain peace and unity and to avoid political aggravation and confrontations, the report reads.
