Foreign Ministry in Athens confirmed Staff at the Greek Embassy in Madrid discovered an envelope containing eight bullets and a written document earlier in the day during an inspection of incoming mail. Content of the document was not revealed, agency Associated Press reported.
Ministry confirmed that a package of similar content was discovered on Wednesday in Greek consulate in Barcelona.
Last month letters-bombs were sent to addresses of three embassies in Rome by Italian anarchists, who were expressing their solidarity in that way with their colleagues in Athens.
In November, a Greek anarchist group took responsibility for packages sent to addresses of several embassies in Athens, in order to draw attention to their struggle against local authorities.
