Three islands, 36 hotels and 8 bays have been put on sale in Marmaris and Datca resort areas of Mugla, western Turkey.

Three islands, 36 hotels and 8 bays have been put on sale in Marmaris and Datca resort areas of Mugla, western Turkey, as Dogan news agency reports today adding that local and foreign investors have already made a move to purchase the discounted items.

The price of an island in Marmaris Ciftlik Bay, where 3 building with full-facility are located, has been declared as 16 million euro.

Three businessmen, one of whom Turkish from Holland, already said that they aspired to get the island.

''The global economic crisis has provided a unique opportunity for those who have money, while it has hit the rest badly,'' says Mehmet Bash, the owner of Guven Real Estate.
