With the support of the USAID-Sida FIRMA Project, representatives from four BiH metal processing companies are attending two major automotive industry trade events in St. Petersburg, Russia, on February 17-19 -- Automechanika 2011 and Autoinvest 2011.

The trip, organized in collaboration with the Export Promotion Agency (BHEPA) of the BiH Foreign Trade Chamber (FTC BiH), will include FAMOS from Istočno Sarajevo, UNIS-TOK from Kalesija, ENKER from Tešanj, and NOVA ELEKTROMEHANIKA from Banjaluka.

The FIRMA Project and FTC BiH are providing all necessary logistical and professional support to the company representatives during their stay in Russia.

In addition to visiting the trade show in St. Petersburg, representatives of these companies will have the opportunity to attend planned B2B meetings with potential buyers and obtain detailed information on the current situation and trends in the Russian and global automotive industry markets.

A number of global companies that manufacture automotive components and spare parts for passenger cars, trucks and buses will be exhibiting at Automechanika 2011, which is part of the leading international trade fair brand for the automotive industry - Automechanika.

Automechanika 2011, as well as Autoinvest 2011, will provide the companies with ample opportunities to meet useful business contacts, negotiate potential investments and strike new business deals.

The USAID-Sida FIRMA Project is a five-year project to support sustainable economic growth, employment expansion and increased household incomes in Bosnia & Herzegovina, with a focus on three sectors of the BiH economy – metal processing, tourism and wood processing.
