Young people protested in Sofia with flags, shouting: “We say no to ACTA!”.

They handed a letter of protest to the representation of the EC in the capital city, reading:

“We – Bulgarians, Europeans, citizens, people call on you to reject the Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement /ACTA/.”

According to the protesters the governmental decision not to take any actions on ACTA is simply freezing of these actions.

Bulgaria should withdraw its signature from the document, the protesters demand. Protests against ACTA were held in other Bulgarian cities too.
